2015 Brier 50/50 Curling Club Fund
SACA is pleased to annouce that the remaining funds generated by the 50/50 raffle held during the 2015 Calgary Brier and Continental Cup have become available to affiliated Southern AB curling clubs for the purpose of promoting and developing the sport of curling in Southern Alberta.

CCA Development Fund

The CCA under its events management system for the Brier, Tournament of Hearts (2002) and the Canadian Curling Trials (every 4 years) has committed 10% of net profits from these events to develop grassroots curling through the establishment of this fund.

Alberta Sports, Recreation, Park & Wildlife Foundation

Gaming Commission

In addition to regulating gaming and liquor control in Alberta, the Gaming Commission distributes Provincial Lottery Funds through the issuance of licenses enabling not-for-profit organizations to participate in Casinos and Bingos.

RURAL CLUBS - To enable rural communities to take part in operating a casino, The Commission has designated Frank Sisson's Silverdollar Casino in Calgary to this end.

CALGARY - Many of the casinos in the city operate in conjunction with non-profit organizations.

Lethbridge Community Foundation

Restricted to organizations and projects which benefit the residents of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta. Grants are approved for needs not met by other funding sources. The Calgary Foundation

The Calgary Foundation's Community Grants Program looks for creative projects designed to meet community opportunities, encourage visioning and active participation by citizens, and/or respond to new ideas. Grants are available for a number endeavours including improve effectiveness in the use of the applicant's resources, purchase of equipment and technology to increase the cost-effectiveness of not-for-profit organizations, assist with the purchase of buildings, land or equipment. The Calgary Parks Foundation - Saddledome Amateur Sport Fund
