2016 Curling Courses

Learn to Curl Clinic

Curling is one of the most popular winter sports, appealing to people of all ages, urban and rural, able-bodied or athletes with a disability.  Learn to curl and experience the enjoyment of joining and playing on a team as well as improving your fitness.

NOVICE CLINICS

Learn the fundamentals of curling and have fun!

- Two sessions 4-41/2 hours (total instruction)

-All clinics are conducted by qualified Canadian Curling Association (CCA) instructors


 INTERMEDIATE CLINICS

 To refresh the experienced or not-so-new curler and to assist with delivery problems, strategy questions or over-all conditioning.

-Two sessions 4-41/2 hours (total instruction)

-All clinics are conducted by qualified Canadian Curling Association (CCA) instructors


For further assistance and to register for a Learn to Curl Clinic, please contact the SACA office @ 403 246-9300 

Please bring your curling equipment to the clinic and dress in layers for on-ice instruction, Including trousers with stretch (jeans not appropriate) gloves and clean, rubber-soled athletic shoes or curling shoes.

A limited number of sliders are available for participants.
